The focus was on developing a flexible space and furniture system that enables a quick and efficient transition between bike and ski operations. Specially developed storage solutions - such as bike lift systems in the summer and heated roll racks for skis in the winter - support functional use. Design-wise, a cohesive overall concept featuring brushed larch wood, steel, and glass was implemented, blending harmoniously into the alpine surroundings. This was complemented by the use of a CO₂-neutral, durable rubber flooring with a terrazzo look, which is suitable for use with ski boots. Generous glass surfaces and a well-thought-out lighting concept further contribute to a high-quality atmosphere.","The task involved designing and implementing a multifunctional shop with a rental service and workshop that could switch between summer (bike) and winter (ski) operations on a seasonal basis. This required integrating various functional needs into a single space - from sales and rental areas to a workshop, lounge, and ancillary rooms. In addition, the spatial concept had to ensure a high degree of flexibility to facilitate efficient seasonal transitions. Special requirements also arose regarding the choice of materials, particularly robust flooring suitable for ski boots, as well as a sustainable construction approach using regional materials and short supply chains.",true,175,[20,23,25,27,29,31],{"image":21,"alt_text":22},"/cms/r51_6343.jpg","Wexl Shop Außenbereich",{"image":24,"alt_text":13},"/cms/r51_6256.jpg",{"image":26,"alt_text":13},"/cms/r51_6164.jpg",{"image":28,"alt_text":13},"/cms/r51_6356.jpg",{"image":30,"alt_text":13},"/cms/r51_6200.jpg",{"image":32,"alt_text":13},"/cms/r51_6342.jpg","Photocredit: Christian Steinbrenner","Gallery","/en/references/wexl-shop","projects/wexl-base-verleih-shop-st-corona-am-wechsel","Rental & Shop ","iTy2wN800wf_GWH4eYwl_2YjffOFOzM8WeS3Fvfg4-Q",1775567294110]
