Challenge Identified – Solution Delivered
At the historic STEFFL department store, centrally located on Kärntner Straße, the goal was to create a new premium retail space for eyewear and watches on the ground floor. The goal was to implement an eye-catching concept within a limited space that would blend seamlessly into the high-end surroundings while simultaneously exerting a strong visual appeal on international customers. In doing so, high design standards, exclusive brand presentation, and close coordination with various stakeholders had to be taken into account.
As general contractor, we handled the entire project - from concept and design through to final implementation. The design was developed by our in-house design department in Padua and refined in close collaboration with STEFFL management and the visual merchandising team. Clear layout structures, high-quality materials such as marble flooring, and a harmonious color and form concept with warm accents created an inviting, modern retail space. Project management, detailed planning, and shopfitting were efficiently coordinated and executed under one roof.
The result is a high-quality, emotionally engaging retail space that captivates visitors the moment they enter the department store and underscores STEFFL’s premium positioning. The new Eyewear & Watches department showcases brands in a targeted manner and significantly enhances the shopping experience - a successful blend of design, functionality, and brand presentation in the heart of Vienna.
